7 April 2009 - Berlin
We went on a boat along the Spree Fluss (Spree River), a rather large river that runs right through the heart of Berlin. Stunning views.

The weather was sunny and warm, the Eis (ice cream) was delicious-- all in all, flowing along the Spree was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.
Clearly, many Berliners agreed. They flocked to the banks of the Spree, utilizing every patch of green that could be seen.
The views reflected what I have previously experienced: a mix of ultra suave and modern architectural designs among older, more dignified buildings.
The banks of the Spree in Berlin or SPRING BREAK 2009? You be the judge. Note the Corona signs.
The Bode Museen Berlin. Right on the water and surrounded by stately bridges.
